# Cambiar el nombre de un campo

En algunas ocasiones necesitamos cambiar el nombre de un campo utilizamos el updateMany() con $rename

Cambiar el nombre de **porcentajeventacredito** por **porcentajecentapublico**

db.proveedor.updateMany({ }, {$rename:{"porcentajeventacredito":"porcentajeventapublico"}})
```

**Otro ejemplo**

```java
db.proveedor.updateMany({ }, {$rename:{"porcentajeventacontado":"porcentajeventacredito"}})
